1. Trekking
You can try a few simple treks from Lungchu, such as the trip to the Rishikhola River, the Alubari vantage point, and the Neora Valley forest. One of the most well-known treks is the Rachela Pass trip. At 3152 metres above sea level, the Rachela pass is the highest point of the Neora Valley hike and practically the intersection of Sikkim, Bhutan, and Bengal. One of the less travelled trails is the Rachela trail. This walk will take you to a pristine Himalayan woodland in Neora Valley National Park that is rich in flora and animals. This trek path travels through pristine, undeveloped subtropical alpine forest. This walk offers a unique diversity of wildlife, including tigers, red pandas, and Himalayan black bears.

2. Changey Falls
A significant attraction to see from Lungchu is Changey Falls, which is approximately 2 km away and can be reached by four-wheel drive. From the final motorable road, tourists must descend 900 meters on foot to reach the waterfall's base.

3. Neora Valley National Park
Neora Valley National Park has a unique eco-system consisting of tropical, sub-tropical, sub-temperate, and temperate vegetation. The surrounding areas of Lungchu are abundant in floras like Rhododendron, Sal, Oak, Bamboo, Ferns etc.

Tourists visiting Lungchu can get rare encounters with wildlife species like Leopard, Wild Dogs, Wild Hogs, Himalayan Black Bear, Clouded Leopard, Himalayan Sero and above all if one is lucky enough could get a rare sight of Himalayan Red Panda also known as Red Fox, but these are very rarely seen. One can also go on a trek in the National Park.

4. Bird Watching
Bird watching is one of the major activities of Lungchu as the hamlet is home to wide species of Himalayan birds like Sunbirds, Tit, Warbler, Redstart, Thrush, Yuhina, Accentors Common Nighthawk, Tragopan, Woodpecker, Barbet, Verditer Fly Catcher, Wagtail, Scarlet Minivet, Fantail, Finch, Barwing and others are to name but a few.

5. Rishyap
Rishyap is another point of tourist interest located at a distance of 23 km away from Lungchu via Lava. Rishyap is famously known for its panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges.

6. Lolegaon
A four-wheel drive vehicle can also travel from Lungchu to the 34 km away Lolegaon or Loleygaon. At Lolegaon, you should admire the forest hanging bridge or the canopy walk as well as the breathtaking view of the snow-capped Himalayan ranges.

7. Mulkharka Lake
The "Mulkarkhais" lake, also known as the "Wishing Lake," is considered sacred by the locals. Anyone who makes a wish in that lake is said to find their wish coming true without a doubt. You will have the impression at that very instant that your wishes had been spiritually acknowledged together with your surroundings. To say the least, the locals' warmth is incredible. They make every effort to provide the greatest service possible so that there is no discomfort for their guests. You can find yourself craving the authentic traditional cuisine over and over again. This lake is one of the only 2 lakes where one can see the reflection of Mount Kanchenjunga like a mirror. Neora Valley is very close to Mulkharka.

8. Aritrar Lake
The lake falls under the Rongli subdivision, and the area is home to a variety of plants and animals. You may feel as though you have reached heaven after the four-hour drive from Gangtok to Rangpo. Aritar is separated from the rest of the state by Mt. Kanchenjunga in Sikkim's eastern borders. The lake, known as Ghati-Tso locally, is gorgeous. Enjoy the mountains, rivers, and lush vegetation that surround Lake Aritar.

9. Village Walking
Tourists can choose to take a village stroll through Lungchu to discover the town's undiscovered natural gems, or they can interact with the locals and partake in their daily activities.

10. Adventure Sports
Lungchu also offers tourists the options of adventurous sports like hiking, rock climbing, rope traversing and others.
