Zuluk, also known as Dzuluk, is a tiny village next to a winding street located at a height of about 10,100 feet on the challenging terrain of the lower Himalayas in East Sikkim. It was once a stopping station on the famed Silk Road that connected Tibet with India.
...
It is one of East Sikkim's less traveled areas. A population of about 700 people is accommodated in this small town. A few kilometers distant, at Zuluk, there is also an Indian Army base that has served as a transit camp for the armed forces expansion to the Chinese border.
Because of the stunning vistas of the eastern Himalayan Mountains, particularly the Kanchenjunga, Zuluk decides its relevance for tourism. Special licenses are required for visits to the zone. However, we would handle the licensing, so as a tourist you would only need to provide proof of identification and a photo. The Pangalokha Wildlife Sanctuary situated near to Zuluk is home to a wide variety of plants, animals, and mammals. The vast population of birds have made the deep forest their home.
