Check-in Time : 12:00 PM

Check-out Time : 10:00 AM

1. Thambi View Point
Your car will start scaling high mountains as soon as you get to Zuluk. To travel the 14 km distance to the Thambi vantage point, the famed Zig Zag Street makes a few dozen turns and curves. At 11,200 feet in elevation, it offers a breathtaking sunrise vista. From here, one can see the entire eastern Himalaya, including the Kanchenjunga. You will be surrounded by a dense, unexplored, and unaltered backwoods here, free from the influences of modernity. Additionally, you can spend time here looking for large, colorful winged species like the Satyr Tragopan or the Himalayan Monal. You can also aimlessly wander around looking for the first silk course. In many places, the stone-cleared street remains unaltered.

You can make a pit stop at the location where a group of locals are said to have seen the Yeti while en route to Thambi View Point. As you sit by the small fire in the night time under the open twilight sky, the tales of "Yeti," "Bonzhakri," and other ancient tales sound incredibly plausible. You should undoubtedly take some time to listen to these residents' legends while you are in Zuluk.

2. Lungthung
Lungthung, which is located 4 kilometers (4 km) ahead of Zuluk and sits at a height of 13,000 feet. Your risky, difficult journey comes to an end here as you start to follow the mountain edges. As you continue on your journey, you will also pass through two or three lovely, small tea estates. Those who fled from Tibet after the Chinese invasion make up a large portion of the population in Lungthung. If you're interested in learning more about the past, some elderly people might still be able to tell you about those times.

3. Tukla
Tukla, famous for the Battle of Tukla, is located about 4 kilometers in front of Lungthung. Through this route, a sudden British military force led by Lt. Col. Francis Younghusband invaded Tibet in 1903. The Tukla conflict started when they encountered fierce resistance from the Tibetan forces. During this encounter, numerous Tibetan warriors suffered and perished. Here, a memorial has been erected as a mark of respect for the soldiers.

4. Nathang Valley
A high altitude hamlet at 13,500 feet above sea level, Nathang Valley (also known as Gnathang Valley) is encircled by Himalayan mountains covered in snow. In the Indian portion of the Old Silk Route, it is the highest populated location. The Nathang Valley is a cold desert because it is snow-covered for more than half the year, from November to April, and the average temperature is below freezing. The colour of Nathang Valley varies throughout the year; in winter, it is covered in a thick layer of snow; in the monsoon, from June to September, it is abundant with both well-known and unidentified flowers; but in the fall, between October and November, when the grassland has dried up, it takes on a golden hue. Some migrating birds stop here for a few months before winter and then fly to another location.

5. Old Baba Mandir
The Old Baba Mandir, which you can also visit on the way back, should be your next destination. The Old Baba Mandir is less touristy and more authentic. Here, everything from Baba Harbhajan Singh's first bunker to his clothes, bed, and composing work place is protected. There is a Baba Harbhajan Singh temple nearby.

6. Kupup
You may get to Kupup by traveling about 5 km from the intersection of Nathang Valley and Baba Mandir streets. This location is well-known for a number of reasons, including the Indian Army's yak golf course, which is regarded as the most incredible in the world (13025 feet, 3970 meter). Privately referred to as Hatisure, the Kupup Lake is shaped like the elephant or Hati.

7. Memenchu Lake
Memenchu Lake may be seen to your left about a kilometer before you get to Baba Mandir. Baba Mandir is where the road to Memenchu starts, but getting there requires a special authorization. The lakeside has a house where you can stay the night.

8. Kalpokhari Lake
One of the nicest lakes in Sikkim is Kalpokhari Lake, which is surrounded by gorgeous mountain scenery and unspoiled wilderness. Wintertime sees the Lake freeze over, creating a picturesque site to see. The greatest time to see it in all its splendor, with lush green valleys and brilliant flowers blooming everywhere, is during the summer and spring seasons.

9. Tsomgo Lake
Welcome to the most picturesque Zuluk tourist destination, which was created naturally when snow melted and displays breathtaking valley views. The lake's recreational activities, such as yak rides, drinking tea or having a platter of food while relaxing by the water, are among its best features. You get to decide how you want to spend your time near the lake. But don't forget to bring your camera!

10. Nag Temple
The Nag temple is a structure resembling a cave and is devoted to Nag Devta, the snake god. There are theories that the temple evolved gradually over time. A large idol of King Cobra or Nag, which is revered by the people, is kept in the shrine.

11. Nathula Pass
The mountain pass known as Nathu La connects India and Tibet Autonomous Region. 14,140 feet above sea level is the enormous height at which the pass is located. The pass was crucial because it served as a hub for trade along the Old Silk Route until 1962.
