Alafiia Lataguri Jungle Stay-ARNY – Dooars Stay

The story of Aranya Jungle Resort began with a vision that saw beyond the timber business and into the heart of nature. In 2005, driven by a passion for the natural beauty and wildlife of West Bengal’s Dooars region, we made a significant shift from the timber industry into the tourism sector. This leap of faith marked the birth of Aranya Jungle Resort, nestled in the scenic town of Lataguri, near the famous Gorumara National Park.

The Humble Beginnings

Aranya Jungle Resort started small, with just three cozy cottages and a restaurant offering home-cooked meals. Despite its modest beginnings, the resort had a clear mission: to provide an authentic and immersive stay in the wilderness while ensuring guests experienced the very best of Dooars’ natural beauty and wildlife. Over time, this commitment to quality service, combined with the magical setting near the forest, began to attract more visitors seeking unique and serene experiences in nature.

Growing with a Purpose

Today, Aranya Jungle Resort stands as one of the oldest and most cherished properties in Lataguri, offering much more than it did when we first opened our doors. We have expanded to include comfortable rooms with air conditioning, a spacious restaurant serving delicious local cuisine, a Travel Desk (Kheyamon Travels) to assist with excursions, ample car parking facilities, and a variety of modern amenities. Despite this growth, we have remained rooted in our core purpose: delivering a unique, natural stay experience that connects our guests to the beauty of the forest.

An Immersive Natural Experience

Our prime location, being very close to the Gorumara National Park, allows our guests to experience nature like never before. Whether it's waking up to the sounds of birds and wildlife or watching the sunset over the forest canopy, Aranya Jungle Resort offers a rare connection to the natural world that few places can provide. Visitors are enchanted by the tranquility and wilderness, making every stay a memorable retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Focused on Exceptional Hospitality

Our journey has been shaped by the dedication and hard work of a committed team, whose focus is always on providing the best hospitality experience for our guests. Over the years, this commitment has been recognized with sensational feedback from visitors on platforms such as TripAdvisor and HolidayIQ. We take pride in the satisfaction and joy of our guests, which drives us to continue improving and offering unforgettable experiences.

A Vision for Gorumara National Park

At Aranya Jungle Resort, we are not just in the business of providing accommodation. We are dedicated to promoting Gorumara National Park as one of the best wildlife destinations in the Dooars region. This vision extends beyond our resort, as we actively engage in efforts to showcase the park’s biodiversity and natural wonders to travelers from all over the world.

Adventure Awaits at Aranya

For the adventurous at heart, Aranya Jungle Resort offers a range of outdoor activities that bring you even closer to nature. Our guests can enjoy thrilling jungle safaris, embark on jungle treks, try their hand at fishing, or even camp under the stars with our carefully curated camping experiences. These activities are designed to help visitors make the most of their time in the wilderness, creating lasting memories.

Looking Forward

As we reflect on our journey from the timber business to building one of the most beloved jungle resorts in Lataguri, we are proud of how far we have come. Aranya Jungle Resort is not just a place to stay; it is a gateway to the incredible wildlife and natural beauty of the Dooars. Our focus remains on providing exceptional hospitality, promoting conservation, and offering an authentic connection to nature.

We invite you to be a part of our story, to experience the magic of Aranya Jungle Resort, and to discover the wonders of Gorumara National Park. Whether you seek relaxation or adventure, we promise you a stay that will stay with you long after you leave.
