Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

To begin your journey to Ghatshila, take a train from Howrah Station to Ghatshila Station, which is approximately 240 km away and takes about 4.30 hours. Upon arrival at Ghatshila Station, you will be transferred to your hotel or resort. After lunch and some rest in the afternoon, head out to visit Fuldungri Hill and Bibhuti Bhusan Bandyopadhyay’s House. In the evening, enjoy the beautiful sunset at Raatmohona before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a full-day sightseeing tour of Ghatshila. Explore Burudi Lake, Dharagiri Falls, Jadugora Rankini Devi Temple, Galudih Dam, Siddheshwar Mandir, and Duarsini. After a long day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3

After a refreshing cup of tea and breakfast, it will be time to depart from Ghatshila. Check out of your hotel and head to Ghatshila Station for your transfer to Howrah Station. Your train departs at 3:15 PM, so make sure to arrive at the station with plenty of time to spare.

  • Check-in and check-out times at hotels would be as per hotel policies. These are generally pre-decided as per operation schedules.

  • If group behaviour is deemed unfit at the property, the Alafiia Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action, which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds.

  • Alcohol consumption is permitted on the premises as per the property's discretion and local laws. Outside alcohol consumption is not allowed in dorm rooms and common areas. However, it can be consumed in private rooms.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges are as follows:

  • 0-2 days: No refund
  • 3-10 days: 400/- per head per day
  • 11 days and above: 300/- per head per day

Rescheduling charges are as follows:

  • 0-3 days: 300/- per head per day
  • 4-30 days and above: 200/- per head per day

In the event of cancellation due to natural disasters, COVID-19, or harsh weather conditions, homestays and camps located in remote regions must make preparations for guests' stays well in advance. The booking amount is 100% refundable if the cancellation is made 15 days prior to the commencement or check-in date. No refund will be applicable for cancellations made within 15 days from the date of trip commencement or check-in.
